DigitMak and the digital transformation of the business sector in focus at a meeting at the Economic Chamber
The European Digital Innovation Hub – DigitMak was presented to companies that are members of the bodies and committees of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia during a meeting with the Minister of Digital Transformation, Stefan Andonovski. The meeting focused on opportunities to digitise business processes, adopt new technologies and support innovation in domestic companies.

The meeting was initiated by the President of the Economic Chamber, Branko Azeski, with Minister Andonovski presenting the project “Digital Transformation of the Private Sector in Macedonia”, as well as the available e-services and digital solutions for companies.
Presenting DigitMak to the business community provides an opportunity for companies to learn about the support available to them for adopting digital technologies, developing innovative solutions and improving their operations.

During the meeting, Azeski highlighted the importance of digitalisation in reducing the administrative burden, saving time, and increasing companies’ competitiveness and export potential. He also announced an agreement to establish an operational body comprising representatives of the Economic Chamber and the Ministry, which will work to identify weaknesses in existing digital processes and improve them.
Minister Andonovski stated that approximately 360 services are available on the National e-Services Portal, around 110 of which are intended for legal entities. A register of authorisations is also being developed, enabling companies to authorise employees and other representatives to access and use electronic services on their behalf.

The meeting also addressed opportunities to digitise licences and registers, support available through European Digital Innovation Hubs, and new funding programmes for innovative projects and the development of artificial intelligence-based solutions. In this regard, Andonovski announced support for innovation projects worth approximately €25 million under the European project “Competitiveness and Business Facility” for the 2026-2030 period.
