DigitMak – A New European Digital Innovation Hub

The European Digital Innovation Hub – DigitMak, which officially started implementation this month, marks a significant step toward positioning North Macedonia as an active participant in the European digital economy.As part of the initial activities, a consortium meeting was held, laying the foundations for a coordinated and ambitious implementation.

What is DigitMak?

DigitMak is a modern European Digital Innovation Hub that brings together expertise, infrastructure, and networks by combining the DigitMak Hub in Skopje and the SEEU TechPark Hub in Tetovo.

This synergy creates a unified platform that ensures nationwide coverage and direct support for businesses and the public sector, especially in regions beyond the capital.

At a time when artificial intelligence is becoming a key driver of competitiveness, DigitMak will function as a one-stop shop, providing access to cutting-edge technologies, knowledge, and expert support.

Services for Businesses and Institutions

Test before Invest – enabling companies to test digital and AI solutions before making investments.
Training and Skills Development – specialized training programs for employees, managers, and technical staff.
Access to Finance Support – assistance in connecting with investors, grants, and EU funding opportunities.
Networking and Innovation Ecosystems – connecting with national and European partners.

Focus on Artificial Intelligence

A key value of DigitMak is its strong focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The hub will provide:

an AI help desk as a first-line support service;
guidance for compliance with EU regulations.
