First training for trainers held within DIGITMAK: From digital maturity assessment to practical support

On 9 July 2026, the first training for trainers within the DIGITMAK project was held at the Business and Innovation Center (BIC) at SEEU TechPark in Tetovo. The event marked the beginning of the programme aimed at developing the knowledge and skills of professionals involved in delivering services through DIGITMAK.

During the half-day session, participants were introduced to the programme’s approach and methodology, its objectives, certification process, and the plan for upcoming activities. Particular emphasis was placed on knowledge and experience sharing, as well as on developing practical skills for the preparation and delivery of training sessions.

One of the main focuses of the training was Digital Maturity Assessment. Participants were introduced to the assessment process and to how its results can be used to better understand the digital needs of companies and public organisations.

The practical part included working with the Digital Maturity Assessment tool and an exercise on its implementation through the EDIH platform. The session also covered how to verify and interpret the results and how to connect them with further activities and services.

The training also presented DIGITMAK services related to Digital Roadmap and Test-Before-Invest, giving participants a broader insight into how different services can be aligned with users’ needs.

Through presentations, practical exercises, and joint discussions, the training contributed to harmonising approaches and better preparing participants for their further work within DIGITMAK.

The first training marks the beginning of a series of activities aimed at continuously developing the knowledge, practical skills, and capacities needed to provide high-quality digital transformation services.
